At KMD Recycling we are proud to be able to our offer a customers the latest and safest form of Data destruction along side the recycling services we offer. This is done using a new method called EDR Media Crushing.

This data destruction service is available on your premises if you wish to witness the destruction, although we are able to offer this off site also.

As we are sure you are aware there are some discrepancies to Degaussing hard drives which can be proven to be an ineffective and also costly and very time consuming. In short the benefits are:

• The Hard Drive is Physically destroyed, meaning that no data can ever be retrieved
• EDR is cost effective
• EDR is quick, the machine destroys a Hard drive in 15 seconds and needs no cool down time during Cycles.
• This service can be offered on your own premises, meaning that your data never leaves your premises
• The EDR machine can be used in remote locations as the EDR can be run using a hard pump meaning no electric supply needed.
• Asset certificatication containing the serial number of every Hard Drive destroyed
• A Certificate of destruction per consigned destruction
• KMD will also remove all destroyed hard drives and recycle them.
