The Collection of Equipment

KMD Recycling offers any organisation the ability to dispose of redundant IT and Electronic equipment anywhere in the UK (mainland). The collection service takes into account the type and amount of equipment by using our internal booking form where a customer can remove anywhere from 40 items to 5000 items in one complete disposal run.

As a bench mark KMD Recycling works with organisations to ensure that timed collections and even off the desks collections are perform to ensure that daily operations are not disturbed.

The Recycling of Equipment

KMD Recycling works within the WEEE Directive as a complete Waste Management company and AATF. Equipment which enters the recycling facility enters as waste and is separated and sorted, then broken down into waste categories. The categories are then either recovered in house or are sent in bulk to refineries for further reclamation.

Off the Desk Collections

The basis of this service is where our specialist team is sent into a site to remove any amount of items from off the desk within a period of time. The service is mostly used during large desktop refresh programs where equipment is being removed the day before new equipment is being installed.

Itemised Asset Management

This service records the Asset Details from all items in a collected consignment and delivers a full report detailing a description, make, and model, serial/asset number.

On / Off Site Media Destruction Services

At KMD Recycling we are proud to be able to our offer a customers the latest and safest form of Data destruction along side the recycling services we offer. This is done using a new method called EDR Media Crushing.

This data destruction service is available on your premises if you wish to witness the destruction, although we are able to offer this off site also
